KRRC Hosts the 2008 Northwest Regional Championships!

The Northwest Regional Championships held at the Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club was a successful and well attended match on April 26th & 27th 2008. We had nearly full lines of shooters both days with all classifications well represented. There were new personal records set by several shooters and two new National records were set by Steve Reiter. The CMP match yielded leg points for one shooter , the Distinguished Revolver gave 8 and 6 point legs and the State EIC match two awards were awarded. The complete match results can be viewed on this web site along with several pictures taken during the match. The weather was very nice and sunny on Saturday and pretty good on Sunday with a few showers late in the day.

All in all I believe the shooters had fun at the match according to the feedback that I received. Again I want to thank all of you for showing up at the match and especially I want to thank all of the people who put in their time to make this match happen.

2007 Washington State Bullseye Championship Match Wrap-Up from September 15 and 16.

Fellow Shooters,

We at Kitsap want to thank you for participating in the State Championships at our facility this year. We hope you enjoyed the match as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you. There will be hard copies of the results mailed with the awards by snail mail.

Congratulations to Rob Cozens for taking the overall Championship and to all of the class and medal winners. I know some of you had a hard grind to make it through the match while others shot their personal best for the match. There were lots of good memories made at the match especially for myself as seems like each match I get to know each of you a little bit better.

The weather did not cooperate with us on Sunday but the hot food and Elaine's cookies helped us make it through the day.
