Classes:
All of our courses are taught by certified instructors. If there is a course you are interested in
that is not listed below, one-on-one specialized training is available in
any firearms related topic. Please call the Range office at 360-373-1007
or email education@gunsafety.org

request more information on our schedule.
We currently offer the following courses:
- Hunters Education: This
course is required to obtain a hunting license for all Washington State
residents who were born after mid 1972. It is also recognized by
all states requiring non-residents to have completed a hunter education
course prior to obtaining a non-resident license. This course is held
four times throughout the year. Contact us for information

- Personal Protection Level I:
This course teaches the fundamentals of personal protection with a firearm
(with emphasis on the handgun)
including basic understanding of the function a firearm, ammunition
choices, how to hit your target and also covers basic laws relating to the use of
force and firearms for
personal protection.
- Gunsmithing 101: These courses
are firearm specific and teach complete disassembly, inspection,
reassembly and lubrication. Firearms include 1911 type pistols,
Smith & Wesson Revolvers, Ruger Revolvers, Glock Pistols, AR-15/M-16
type rifles, Remington 870/1100/1187 Shotguns and others.
- Constitutional Law:
Do you know what your rights are? Do you
have any rights in what has been described as a post-Christian era? This
course will open your eyes to where we are, how we got here and what needs
to be done to secure rights for the following generation.
This course covers the basic constitutional rights afforded to all
Americans.
- Range Officer:
The KRRC Range Officer course encompasses
those issues that must be addressed while acting as an official
representative of your club.
Our Range Officer Course includes eight hours of classroom training
followed by a 20-hour requirement of acting as a RO Trainee under the
supervision of a skilled
Range Officer. This is an excellent course that features topics
including shooter safety, range maintenance and range management. .
- Basic Home Firearms Safety:
This course teaches the basics. How to choose a firearm, how to
handle a firearm, how to shoot a firearm and also covers basic laws
relating to the use of firearms for personal protection.
- Women's Defensive Handgun: This
is an eight-hour course designed specifically for women.
- Reloading: If you shoot a
lot, you know how expensive ammunition can get. These courses will
teach you how to reload your own ammunition and features training on
single-stage, progressive and commercial reloading machines.
- Individual Training:
Individual training which focuses on your individual needs can be arranged
to cover any firearms related topic. Classes can be set up by calling 360-373-1007 or by email:
